James Wakeford - President/ C.E.O., Barefoot CNC
From his years in the furniture industry, to his time as a CNC Machining Instructor at Western Piedmont Community College, James Wakeford has over 20-plus years in the advanced manufacturing industry. He specializes in 5-Axis programming and post development. He started Barefoot CNC in 1995 as an independent company that serviced the needs of the machining industry all over North and South Carolina. In 1998, Barefoot started selling Mastercam in the Carolina's.
Jason "Pedro" Parks - Applications Engineer, Technical Support, Sales
Jason has over 21 years’ experience in the metalworking industry. Parks “cut his teeth” in the early 90’s working at an aerospace machine shop, where his duties included constructing everything from simple to complex aerospace parts. In the late 90’s, he began working with Advanced Precision Machining doing molded and high-end hydraulic, CMM fixturing. Throughout his machining career, Jason has always used MasterCam as his first choice in CAD/CAM software.
Jamie Boyd - Sales, Support & Post Work
Jamie learned all of the machining essentials at James Tool in Burke County. After paying his dues, Jamie graduated to a Bridgeport mill, then onto CNC. For the next 7 years, he used Mastercam to program 3 and 4 axis horizontal machining centers. Jamie's Mastercam experience opened the door at UMMF in Conover NC, where he spent the next several years programming 4th axis HMCs and a large vertical 5 axis millturn. Over 10 years of experience with Mastercam and the awesome support from Barefoot CNC is what eventually lead to Jamie's ambition to become a Mastercam Reseller.

Jennifer Taylor- Sales, Accounts payable, Customer Service
Jennifer/ Jenn is a new edition to the Barefoot CNC She has 9 years working in customer service. She Newly moved to North Carolina from Odessa Texas.
Steve Chichester - Sales, Support
Started working in my father's machine shop around 8 yrs old. We did anything from milling intake manifolds,Cutting valve seats and head porting. After Highschool I went into construction till I injured my back. At 28 I Started working for Amphenol Aerospace. Running 6 Vertical mills 2 of which are 4th with 5th option. Learned how to hand program and also MacroB programs. In January 2020 I decided to make the Move to NC where I met the team at Barefoot.
Trey Speas - Sales, Support
With over 16 years of experience in the Industry, 11 of those being a family owned business with his father. Trey was able to build his expertise in Router that helped him further his career as a Bed Sample Engineer at Bernhardt Furniture. Wanting to branch out into other CNC areas he found himself joining the Barefoot CNC family. In his 3+ years with us he has quickly grown to be a valuable asset to us.
